Position: Development Engineer (Scala, Java, Python, SQL, Databases, AWS, Data Pipeline, SaaS/Multi-tenant, Google/Facebook Marketing APIs) BS CS, 5+ yrs.

As a Development Engineer you will

  • Innovate, design, and implement a  scalable multi-tenant SaaS data pipeline product in public clouds such as AWS, GCP and Azure

  • Work with large data sets, high performance databases, cloud services, and state of the art technology and tools

  • Drive the underlying technology stack, design, and implementation methodology

  • Drive performance tuning and automation.

  • Work with teams across US and India on new products or features/improvements of existing products.

  • Support, maintain and document  software functionality

  • Identify problems, triage in a  team environment, and recommend solutions


You should have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer  Science or equivalent

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and building SaaS/PaaS products

  • Expertise in object-oriented languages such as Java, Scala, Python

  • Designed and delivered Spring Boot based Restful web services in cloud

  • Designed and delivered data products using AWS, GCP or Azure cloud services

  • Knowledge of networking concepts like VPC/ Subnets/ Route Tables/ Internet Gateway/ NAT, etc.

  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery of software

  • Understanding of SQL/ NoSQL databases and SQL programming

  • Experience with microservices architecture, Docker containers, and Kubernetes

  • Can-do startup attitude and strong collaborative and interpersonal skills - proven ability to effectively work and influence within a dynamic matrix environment


To stand out from the crowd

  • Demonstrate design and implementation experience of production quality enterprise systems at cloud scale with security, reliability, and monitoring support

  • Show a track record of solving complex problems with innovative solutions

  • Prove expertise in distributed systems and understanding of cloud infrastruture

  • Show experience with a Google Adwords, Search, Display Network and/or Facebook Marketing APIs
