The ideal candidate has a history of exceeding sales quotas, loves the thrill of the hunt, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. He/she will also have experience navigating through organizations, doing deep discovery, and selling to multiple decision makers, ideally within direct-to-consumer marketing organizations.

In its first year, and with no dedicated sales team, the company is delivering the hard dollar ROI needed to close deals well into the mid six figures.  If you have the right stuff, including enterprise sales experience (Fortune 500 / solid six figure deals), startup know-how, and the motivation to break down walls – you could get in early and help massively accelerate LiftLab’s sales function.

The position will be based out of our Oakland office and will play an integral role in helping grow our business, working closely with our leadership team to define sales initiatives, advance deals, and refine the sales playbook for scale.

What You Bring To The Table

  • 3+ years of experience in a closing role at a SaaS provider with a record of top performance.

  • Experience selling technology products and/or services to Enterprise and Mid-Market customers, navigating a complex sales process selling to multiple decision makers / influencers.

  • Technically savvy and specifically skilled in using CRM (preferably Salesforce) to manage sales cycles.

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or early startup experience strongly preferred.

What You Will Do In The Position

  • Become an expert on LiftLabs Performance Media Experimentation solution and the ad-tech / mar-tech ecosystem.

  • Identify, uncover, and develop new account opportunities utilizing solution-selling and value-selling techniques to effectively guide sales process to close.

  • Conduct and coordinate resources for discovery calls, presentations, and demos with a broad level of audiences including CMOs, digital marketing leaders and analytics / mar-tech experts.

  • Develop expansion opportunities, growing pilots into subscription customers and expanding the client footprint in multi-brand accounts.

  • Provide timely and accurate forecasts, and clear visibility on sales and revenue performance by actively handling your pipeline of opportunities.

  • Leverage and coordinate cross-functional internal teams (Engineering, Marketing, Product, Customer Success) to efficiently navigate sales cycles.

  • Track all opportunity and customer details including use case, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasting in Salesforce.

  • Work strategically with management to identify opportunities to accelerate our sales processes, capitalize on emerging market developments and strengthen our customer / partner value proposition.
