Introducing Curve Your Enthusiasm

Conversations with Experts from the Front-line of Growth Marketing and Measurement

In January, we launched our first episode of our show - called Curve Your Enthusiasm - with the intent of bridging the academics of marketing performance with real stories from the frontlines of growth marketing and marketing measurement.

We live in an ever-changing marketing landscape - whether it is new privacy regulations that force us to change our practices, new channel properties that influence our marketing mix, or new direct competitors that cause us to rethink promotions and pricing. The list is endless and ever-changing.

We are making room for conversations about the best ways to address these challenges by bringing together industry-leading experts with similar passions as we navigate the intricacies of growth marketing analytics, modeling and measurement. We are bringing the best minds from across the marketing, advertising and media landscape to help give voice to key issues in these changing times. Our goal is to share wisdom, best practices and ideas, and interact with our community on a new front...not peddle products.

Once a month, we will explore the world of data-driven marketing with hopefully a sense of humor, where the plots and subplots are established in outline form, and the dialogue is skillfully improvised by our esteemed panelists. Don't miss out on this engaging series that promises to entertain, enlighten, and perhaps even provoke a few awkward situations along the way.

Here are some of the topics we hope to cover.

  • Benchmarks vs. Lift Curves

  • Investing in new channels and changing your media mix

  • What are the economics of each ad platform, did the revenue from the last $ spent cover its costs

  • Evolution of the measurement market and approaches -- where we are headed in MMM, MTA, etc.

  • How to think like an CFO by treating your media portfolio like an investment portfolio

  • The Ups and Downs of Influencer Marketing as part of your marketing mix

  • How to address the thorny subject of Affiliate Marketing in your marketing mix

  • Staying on top of industry trends and how privacy is shifting how we approach measurement

If you have expertise in any of these areas or related areas, we would love to hear from you at marketing@liftlab.com.
